Event Roundup – 2026 CT Day

After a lot of hoping, the day finally dawned bright and sunny on our CT event on August 2nd. The grounds looked smashing after the mammoth effort made by our volunteers in the previous weeks. We are so grateful for their efforts.

We had PCV Grades 4-6 and Ready2Ride as well as Open Grades 4 and 5. We were lucky to have Beverley Milner and Alexandra Diprose as our dressage judges and Nicky Hair as our showjump judge.

It was fantastic to see so many smiles on participants as they went about their tests and day. We hope everyone had a great time, regardless of their results.

We are especially proud of our participating Traralgon Pony Club Members for giving it a crack and all of them coming home with ribbons!

We had Lilly and Brandy come home with 6th in the Open Grade 5, Ellerie and Jodie take out fifth and Inika and Candy in second in the Ready2Ride, and an amazing performance by Savannah and Marley to bring home first in PCV Grade 6.

We are so proud of our girls for having great results but even more for being good sports and kind to their fellow competitors.

We are very grateful to our volunteers for helping out as well as the competitors and families who jumped in where needed.

Special thanks go to Anne and Annie for running the canteen all day and doing an amazing job; Harrison, Les and Gary for being brilliant parking attendants and fitting in more floats than we ever thought possible; and Danni for solving all crises as they arose. We also appreciate our pencillers, gear checkers, marshalls, course changers, and everyone else who chipped in.
