Child safety is our utmost priority at Traralgon Pony Club. We follow Pony Club Victoria’s Child Safety Policy. More information can be found at the PCV Integrity Hub.
We follow PCV and Equestrian Australia hot weather guidelines using wet bulb globe temperature index to manage horse and rider safety. If the temperature is over 25C, we remind riders to frequently rehydrate and actively cool their horses. If temperatures reach or exceed 32C we will consider suspending, stopping or cancelling events.
We reserve the right to cancel casual grounds use, events or rallies, if the grounds are not safe to use due to wet or wild weather. This will be clearly communicated with members prior to the event.
